CD57 Test

I was wondering if I should get the CD57 done. I had a full lyme panel done about 7 weeks ago. I heard they keep your sample for three months, do you think they could use the same sample to test or would I have to send in a new sample?

The problem with the CD57 is it's not specific to Lyme. I've read that Chlamydia Pneumoniae, HHV-6 and maybe other viruses can also lower CD57 levels. Do you have an LLMD? What does he/she say?

I'm not sure if you would need another blood draw with this test.

 

Got mine done at in was 36... it just helps confirm for me it is indeed lyme and i am very sick and it must be what is causing my symptoms, which my docs (non llmds) tell me all the time its not lyme, its not lyme. well with a cd57 of 36 along with a pos elisa and borderline pos western blot, now i know for SURE. IM RIGHT THEY ARE WRONG. i will continue my treatment, im finally getting somewhere since i added Mepron.
