Well, I think most people know that Dr. Jernigan's protocol worked for me and it's been 7 years plus that I have been well.   The strange thing is when I go look at the prices today for the botanicals, it is the same price as it was over 10 years ago, $48.00 for a bottle of Borrelogen, Microbojen, any of the Neuro-Antitox Formulas.  (Lymogen was not invented back then.) 

I also liked the fact that Dr. Jernigan grows and harvests his own herbs and even tests them.

My protocol was very simple, 3 months of Borrelogen (I also took the Neuro-Antitox CNS/PNS formula due to joint pain, brain fog, etc.) along with the Borrelogen.

After 3 months I stopped the Borrelogen and started the Microbojen (also continued with the Neuro-Antitox), and then for 3 months I took all 3 botanicals (Borrelogen, Microbojen, Neuro-Antitox) at the same time.

I did plenty of detoxing, dry skin brushing, detox baths, foot baths, infrared sauna, watched my diet, exercised (which I could not do in the beginning).  Today I continue to detox because I believe we all live in a toxic world.  By detoxing I am keeping my immune system strong. 

The only supplement I still take and probably will always take is the Green Vibrance and extra Vitamin C.

teragram, what were your symtoms before your surgery thyroidectomy

I'm on a combo too... Before my gut called it quits a month ago, I was on Andrographis (from Buhner's protocol) and Flagyl, and getting ready to add Houttyunia for Bartonella.

I am going to be adding Homeopathic Nosodes for Lyme & Bartonella soon, since I can do those whether or not my gut is working.

I also use some essential oils topically.

Anyone concerned about their thyroid needs to be sure to have not just the TSH measured- which is why Teragram said to be sure to have the comprehensive Thyroid panel done. You absolutely need to know what your T3 and your T4 levels are - they are the ones that will "tell us" the most about your thyroid function.

One site that I found incredibly helpful is: www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ as it covers not just thyroid issues, but adrenal issues as well. If your thyroid is giving you issues and you have had these infections for a while, you really, really need to have your adrenal glands tested as well. If adrenals aren't functioning properly, your body will have a really difficult time trying to heal as it will remain stressed out.
