I can tell you that I had Lyme and many of the co-infections before I got pregnant and have had 2 children who are now adults and they don't seem to have any of the symptoms still. I worried and worried, and pushed them to get tested, to check out all the symptoms - in general, hounded them!! LOL!
I've had to quit hounding them though, they are now 27 and 29 with no symptoms that can't easily be explained by regular "normal" things.
Worrying all the time will only rob you of your happiness - it won't help your beautiful son either way. So try this: each time you realize that you are thinking of your son and these infections, just force yourself to think of something else, a happy something - maybe some little joy that you experienced with him the day before. If you keep doing this over and over again, your thoughts should slowly stop going to worrying over your son's possibility of having Lyme disease. I know it worked for me!
