My finger toes and legs and arms are trembling. Short breath racing heart. So dizzy. Brain feels like being churned ;( I'm going to call my doc and ask to back off when I can talk again

Honey if you can't even talk, I wouldn't recommend taking any more meds until you talk to the doctor.

Oh yes, I've felt like I was dying during many herxes; it's horrible!!!! Sounds like it's time to take a day or two break from the meds. or at least reduce the dosage to let your body catch up with the toxin overload.

Thank you. I thought for sure my husband would come home from work and find a dead body! Luckily I took some anti anxiety meds (bummed because have been off these for months now ;(

My dr. finally called back and is decreasing my dose to allow time to adjust. Thank God. I don't think I could go through this every day! I think I would just go crazy. It's like torture...

Been on low dose doxy for 10 days and will continue this more aimed at some co infections. Started 500 mg of Biaxin yesterday (250mg am and 250mg pm). It felt awful yesterday but it really got me today!

The funny thing is my gut and stomach is tolerating it well which is what the pharmacist said I'd have problems with. I guess they don't know about herxin!

Actually, it's quite amazing how few people know anything about herxing!

If you continue to have issues with the abx, you will need to find another protocol that doesn't use Pharma abx to heal. They work quite well, it's just a matter of what you choose to use.

I was one that couldn't tolerate abx due to severe herxing, so I used nothing but herbs to heal with.

I know all about herxing (now, not when I started treatment) - please don't push your body too far. It needs to recuperate every now and then.

My sister just tested positive for Bart today. I was with her on the phone, but she doesn't have a clue about herxing. I tried to warn her, but it is as if she doesn't get the seriousness of it. I will guide her through it when it gets tough. I hope she won't herx badly though...

I too hope that your sis will listen to you and won't herx badly! I hope that she soon sees what a valuable resource she has in you - not to mention what a wonder sister she has!!

I defiantely never want to feel like that again! I feel like I have a herx hangover today, just have to lay around I guess ;-/

I am always sensitive to meds and am actually phobic now. I will take it slow but if this even comes close to that horrible herx again, that's it. I know my dr. will go the natural route but prefers the combo first. We'll see...

What can I do to support the mutation? I am detoxing in every way that I have found (and can afford) . My dr. Has me on a ton of natural stuff. But I will have to ask her if any of it applies...

It is C677T. I'm not sure what it means, I can't understand the lab interpretation.

sorry, heather.. do you know if you have any other mutations like CBS, COMT, BHMT?
