Good information, but before anyone goes to the doc to ask for a prescription for Benicar, please read about the side effects of the medicine! If a person can control their herx with medicine doses being reduced (or stopped) and detoxing, there are NO side effects that will be added to a person who is already feeling a bit like death warmed over!

I've read from different Lyme forums that Alka Seltzer Gold works wonders for herxes even though it's more known for relieving gas and indigestion.

I have been drinking a cup of hot water with slices of lemon added.
It seems to really be helping when I am herxing.
