Does anyone feel the nasty die-off in their skin?

I don't think I've technically herxed (been on abx and herbs for 1.5 months now) but do feel considerable die-off underneath my skin.

I'm hopeful that means I'm detoxing (properly). Then I'll drink w bunch of water and take some chlorella, which seems to wash it away.

Also could a herx be emotional from the Bart?!

Anyone have a similar experience? p.s. when I had some champagne and packaged food last week, the next day I felt like a blow fish-- I'm new to all this business so trying to sort it all out. Thx!

What does it do to your skin? I get a persistant itch in the same places and there is nothing there. No marks, no dry skin just insane itching. I've been dry brushing but it still itches.

I have Bart and have problems with being very emotional! I used to be a very laid back person on the emotional stuff but now I cry at anything, get easily irritated and depressed.

I can't wait for the day when I get to reclaim my body and kick these aliens out!!

And yes, when I cheat on my diet, I suffer the same consequences. I had a pancake once (with syrup) and my belly was bloated to the size of pregnancy for 3 days and hurt so bad. It taught me that cheating isn't worth it ;(

Bartonella definately produces emotional herxes in my daughter.  Anger, lashing out, raging, frustration, loss of executive function; where before the change in treatment or increase in abx dosage there was happiness, laughter, patience and organization. 

I, myself, have had a skin herx with cat's claw.  A symptom I had never had before - my skin became very sensitive to touch, as though I had been flicked with a rubber band whenever I was touched with any pressure.  The sensation would last for 30 seconds or so and then fade.  I also developed very sore elbow joints with cat's claw as well.  This was all before I thought to take Japanese knotweed at the same time.

Hi Heather and rowing mom-- thx for your replies. The die off feels stuck I'm my skin, which makes me think I'm not detoxing properly. It's primarily in the thighs and arms. It's not itchy but there's an awareness it's there.

I guess Heather and I are experiencing the emotional herxes. Does anyone know when these symptoms will subside?

What about marks on the skin with bartanella? I have what look like fingernail marks on my face and strange line like drawings all over my body! Can't seem to find anything like this when I research.

Definately sounds like a classic bart rash. Ive had these appear only occasionally.
I would really like to know when the emotional and depression might begin to dissipate. It is really starting to scare me!
