ok. So I have been doing ACT since mid-November. 7 months now. In the beginning I saw improvements for about
2 weeks. Then I didn't. Well, I stuck with it. I was having some herxing in reaction to the codes, but most times I wasn't seeing any changes good or bad. Well, these past 4 weeks have been very interesting. I had two severe herxes after class codes within 3 weeks of each other. I got very sick with a fever, nausea, vomiting, chills, shaking. It wasn't any kind of herx I experienced before. I thought I had a virus until it happened a second time after class. Then I knew it was a herx. Well, after getting so sick, I woke up the next day feeling so much better. Now, these past couple of weeks have been great. I have been able to go out with my kids more, go shopping (something I haven't done in a long time) and we even went on a mini vacation this week for the 4th (haven't been overnight anywhere in 7 years).
I am not 100% again yet, but I now feel like I am on my way. My anxiety is going down. I am feeling better most days and I can't help but attribute that to doing ACT. I wasn't sure at first and nearly quit it about 2 months ago, but I am glad I stuck with it and I hope by this time next year I am lyme free (again). But this time for good!
Just thought I would share. I will keep it posted if it continues to work in the coming months.
