Please know, that by sharring this, I am mentioning a company name only becuase of their potency and they are Certified Pure Theraputic Grade. If this is against rules, I understand and will not post again.

No synthenthic, PURE oils. I benefit in no way, other than trying to share what I am seeing change the lives of people with Lyme. I do believe I have so type of microbial stuff going on myself, so I use some of these oils.

We are seeing the oils used in major hospitals for MRSA, staff stress reduction, antiviral treatments, and more.

I use the frankensince, cirtus oils, lavender, and a blend we call balance(for anxiety) religously.

again, I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL but just share the experience I am and am witnessing with these oils!

NOTE-some blends are special to doTERRA but there is a lot of info on single oils as well.

These are used for LYME

Oils & Blends:  Frankincense (this has really helped my friend with lyme. I use it also for seizures, when I feel shaky and yucky and I use it everyday), Lemongrass, On Guard (this is a blen of Cimmamon, Clove bud, Eucaltptus,Rosemary and Wild Orange) that is antibacterial, antivirul and provides immune support) this blend is with doTERRA only

 

 

Essential oils based products: GX Assist, Life Long Vitality supplements( I have been using these and it changes everything. my energy is better, I'm in less pain, and feel a lot better) these are with doTERRA only

Also consider: CassiaC, CinnamonC, LavenderC, Melaleuca(this is a great antibiotic that can actually penitrate a cell, as normal antibiotics given by doctors can only reach the outside of the cell) just make sure what your using can be taken internally and says CPTG on the bottle, Sandalwood, and there is an oil we call DDR PRIME that actually rebuilds damanged cells, and repairs DNA

 Suggested protocols:

There are multiple phases of Lyme disease:

·  During the initial infectious stage (immediately after the tick bite) the use of an antibiotic protocols will be effective and if started early enough will eliminate further complications.

·  If the initial phase went undetected or untreated and some period of time passed before being diagnosed then the antibiotic protocols should be coupled with cleansing(candida cleancs, start a great probiotic!!)

  

·  If the infection is arrested but symptoms continue (post-Lyme disease syndrome) then the antibiotics and cleanses may not be necessary but Candida should be considered while addressing the symptoms.

Nutritional foundation

In all cases the Life Long Vitality supplements should be used.  Double the recommended use of EOMega from 4 capsules per day to 8 for those considered to be in the second phase as described above.

Antibiotic protocol

Put the following in a 00 capsule:

·   12 drops On Guard

·   6 drops Oregano

·   2 drops Frankincense

One capsule per day or 14 days, rest 14 days and repeat.  During the 14 rest days apply 2 drops of  Lemongrass and 1 drop of Oregano on each foot before bedtime.

Cleanse (detoxify)

Use the full 15 day GX Assist/PB Assist procedure 3 times:

· 

Other cleanses are described elsewhere and should be considered including doTERRA Zendocrine for detoxifying the liver, kidneys, colon, lungs, and skin.

Again be aware of the Herxheimer reaction and if rashes or other symptoms occur cut the daily dosage while continuing the procedure.  Return to full dosage as Herxheimer reactions subside.

Supplements/Antibiotics/Cleanse sequence

·   If multiple protocols are necessary consider the following:  The Life Long Vitality supplements can be taken along with the antibiotic and cleansing procedures.

·   If the antibiotic and cleansing procedures are both needed it is prudent to sequence them starting with the antibiotic protocol, a 14 day rest, and then the cleanse.  

Candida possibility

Be aware if heavy antibiotic treatment has occurred there is a possibility of the body's immune system being weakened and an overgrowth of Candida happening.  If this appears to be the case follow the procedures recommended to help with Candida.

Pain, Comfort, Immune System

For those in the second phase of Lyme disease or suffering from post-Lyme disease syndrome using the AromaTouch Technique often will provide comfort, relief of pain and help build the immune system.

Even though I mention doTERRA and I"m in so way trying to sell this for my own benefit, but these oils are a standard we haven't seem before. I'd at least suggest googling doTERRA

NOTE- alot of the blends are special to doTERRA but there is a lot of INFO on the single oils.

AngMichelle, I couldn't help but notice the meds you are taking and wondering if you know all of the side effects of them?????? Diazepam, Neurontin and ambien can cause a host of problems, especially depression and anxiey. If you are in tolerance you would either have to up your dose to relieve these symptoms or slowly taper them....which is not easy.

Thanks for all the info you provided. I will save it to my favorites.

doTerra's and many other companies' essential oils are not safe to take internally, these companies' oils are ONLY safe for topical use or aromatherapy applications.

This is because of synthetic additives, improver distillation techniques, and/or impurities present in the oils.

acutally doTERRA oils are one of the only oils that CAN be taken internally because they are Certified Pure Theraputic Grade.
99.9% of the oils are safe for internal use. They are the most regimented, tested and safe oils there are out there.
Never use internally unless the oils are CPTG!!

I should update my profile as I've been able to come off the diazepam, ambien and neurontin. I do take Cymbalta, a small dose of clonazepam, and just stopped remeron and amitriptyline.

I'd say the oils have replaced a lot of my meds. I was having a lot of side effect (the neurontin made me swell like crazy), and the ambien just didn't work.

doTerra has their own certification process, that is NOT verified by a 3rd party. There is no PROOF this certification is valid.

I am not here to argue or push anything. My only intention was to share what I am personally seeing changing lives.

The person you are referring to has to use nothing but natural products - so that has nothing to do with this.

We all must do our own research into possible things to use, and if we see something that makes us doubt that products quality, or anything else, we must be skeptical due to our health being compromised so much.

AngMichelle, thanks for sharing. This is actually a very good forum to discuss alternatives since so many people are open to learning new things. I think many people voice concerns since it's new to them or they have a different understanding of it. You just have to get used to the fact that people are going to battle you once in a while (not so much here) since we stepped away from the norm. I've used alternative meds almost as long as you've been alive and I have taken a lot of criticism over the years. It has gotten better with time and I don't get nearly as much criticism as I used to. It's just hard for a lot of people to step away from what they know and trust and people should be cautious sometimes, says she who just jumped into another therapy that I don't know much about! Not like me to do that, but I'm ready to push to find anything that will help my daughter and I, but her especially.

RE: Learning new things.

I have practiced essential oil therapy with a variety of high quality products for 25 years. There is no such thing as "Therapeutic Grade" EO. This phrase was first made up by the Young Living company. doTerra has followed with the terminology and even companies that NEVER used the term in decades past have gotten in the habit of saying this because YL did such a good job of infiltrating the inexperienced retail market with the term "Therapeutic Grade." Again, there is NO SUCH THING. Check the FDA website and you will see the term does not exist.

There are many quality distillers around the world and I have personally used their products. Gas spectrometer testing will show you the quality of the oil and its ingredients. When purchasing oils, as for the gas specs. Be aware that companies with a "business opportunity" sell their oils for significantly higher prices than other high quality suppliers on the market.

I've never used oils internally but I LOVE essential oils!!!! I do t wear perfume, never have it makes me sick. I have alsways used lavender oil.

There's a group of Lymies here that is just for people using essential oils. I went to a talk about them and they were giving people a sample of one oil and the whole room smelled like it once the talk began and several people had to leave since it was bothering them. It bothered me, but not so bad that I had to leave.

Cinnamon Cassia is very HARMFUL to your liver.



The coinfections (viruses, parasites, etc) and zoonotic bacteria's, spirochetes, and protozoa's MUST be completely eradicated from the body. Leaving them there allows them to cause much damage to most systems of the body. Treating or sedating symptoms may cause the person to feel better but, it does now stop the damage from happening inside. Complete eradication of symptoms is the ONLY WAY we will ever regain our health.
Being too busy to eradicate, thinking it will go away on its own, being a sissy when it comes to die off toxins ... is allowing damage to progress within... All the denying that these diseases, zoonotic infections, are not progressively deteriorating the body only hurts you. Someday when you do decide to do the work of eradication you will simply have more of a load to work on, your health will have become more fragile and you will require a much longer convalescent healing period time after complete eradication of all the infections.

The body always requires to repair from the ravages the infections incurred over the years. This is not a bladder infection!!

That's very good information, but you do sound a tiny bit pushy. Sorry. I believe that you're not trying to sell anything, but I agree with Razzle that you have to make your own decisions.

I am chemically sensitive, and even though essential oils are natural, some of them, like lavender, make me feel sick.

I've heard about the use of essential oils to treat Lyme, but have never heard of them being taken internally.

I hope you do well on your journey with Lyme and essential oils.

Anahatta, with your extensive experience with EO, can you share which companies offer high quality oils? Also, would you use any of these EO's in tiny amounts internally?

Any experience with North American Nutritional's EO's?

I am appreciative for any information you may have about EO's and lyme treatment.

Hi. I'm 44, chronic Lyme 8 years, misdiagnosed for 5.5 years with CFS/Fibro. Have tried everything from homeopathy to hypnotherapy and am now 19 months into an antibiotic regime including a picc line for IV ceftriaxone.

I have not tried essential oils but am researching it and it will be the next thing I'll try.

I use essential oils regularly for various health ailments (insect repellant, rashes, headaches, detox blends) and am a big believer in them. I make my own cleaners and beauty products (soap, oil cleansers and moisturizers, lip balms etc). I have researched essential oils (EOs) quite a bit and have tried several different brands. The only company I will buy oils from now is Living Libations. In my opinion, these are the purist EOs out there. I am very skeptical of any MLM sellers of EOs. I can now tell by the smell (after using living libations oils) which are high quality and which are chemically altered.

I have no ties or financial incentive to any company. My own products I do not sell I make for personal use and for gifts to friends and family. If anyone has any information on using essential oils to treat Lyme, from an unbiased source, I would be very interested. Thanks

Hi, re: essential oils, I agree with the above comment that "therapeutic grade" has no meaning. I personally would only ever use certified organic oils if I'm using them for health reasons or using topically or orally. I find that it's hard to trust recommendations for Young Living or DoTerra oils since so many people are selling them and earning commissions. I have tried many different brands of oils, here are a few that I like. I have no connections to any of these companies, I don't sell anything or earn any commissions on any products. IMO, the absolute best oils are from www.livinglibations.com. All organic or wild crafted, and most show a certificate which tell you the % of all active compounds. For any condition, you should do your homework as to which compounds are the most effective against your condition then research which oils have that compound. These oils are very expensive, but very potent and pure. Also, Mountain Rose Herbs is an excellent company, you can get organic oils and I have found them to be excellent. www.newdirectionsaromatics.ca is another company I use. I don't think they are the same quality as the two I just mentioned, but they are ok and you can get organic oils from them as well, it's a canadian company. there are many different essential oils that can help with various aspects of Lyme - for candida prevention, and treatment, clove, tea tree and lemongrass help break candida biofilms, thyme, patchouli and cedarwood treat candida. Clove is also strong anti-bacterial and has very high antioxidants. Other anti-bacterial oils are tea tree (also anti fungal), thyme, marjoram, oregano. Frankincense is an immune booster, and anti-inflammatory. garlic and oregano, wormwood (not an oil) are good for parasites, and finally rosemary, rose, lavender, geranium are quorum sensing disrupters https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19827025. It has been well established that bacteria and other cells can "communicate" with each other. A quorum sensing disrupter interferes with this communication. You can take essential oils (diluted with a carrier oil like organic coconut oil) in a capsule either orally or as an anal suppository, or diluted with a carrier oil (again, I would suggest organic only, olive oil or coconut oil) and applied to the feet, in a bath, with a diffuser or orally. You need to do your own homework as to the proper safe dose and make sure whatever oils you buy, it's a reputable company and only organic. Essential oils also have a synergistic effect meaning a combination is often more powerful than any one individual oil. You can rotate them as well.

I've been using oils on and off for years, but not many. I have an acupuncturist that uses a brand, Living something I think. Last week a neighbor had a doterra party, and I did order the lemon as you can use it in water instead of actual lemon but won't get the acidity that's bad for your teeth. I'm worried about my enamel, so I thought this was a good thing to try.

I also just go to amazon and look at reviews and different brands. Lavendar has been helpful for muscle aches - I add to my epsom bath.

This doterra rep had a book, and I didn't catch the title, but the lyme page had a protocol. I didn't copy it as I couldn't see myself going that route to treat lyme. I use it more as a supplement.

I really like peppermint oil. I ordered from amazon and don't remember the brand, but I like to put a couple of drops near my pillow at night and it helps me breathe and sleep better.

I've also been using frankensence for a skin tag on my face, and I think it's helping!

Oil of oregano helped me to get rid of candida from the antibiotics, but I could barely tolerate one drop. It's strong!

At the party, the rep had us rub two oils in our hands (peppermint and orange I think) and massage into the back of our neck. It's supposed to be relaxing, but I did not like the smell. Others loved it. So I do believe the oils can be beneficial, but again it's also a trial and error thing.

Olbas oil:
Ingredients: Essential oils of Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Cajeput, Wintergreen, Juniper and Clove.

I use Olbas oil on skin (not ingested) for many many years.

After a tick bite, I put Olbas on top many times a day.

If you have infected pimples, acne, adding Olbas on top makes the infection heal much faster, in my opinion.

I say Olbas, but I suppose that if you mix the oils above on your own, it will make the same effect.

I buy Olbas because it's just easier for me. Google to find concentrations of oils inside it.
If you don't find, I think I still can find it in my bottles....

Mosquito bite is itchy? Olbas cools it down, calms the inflammation.

I get sometimes skin eruptions after antimicrobials: Olbas on top.

when joints get affected, I can use other essential oils, all rubbed, and I do feel the effect going inside. It's been long I don't do that, but during active lyme, I was doing that.

If you rub such oils (such as Olbas) on your lymph, lymph nodes, you feel it gets softer.

I also use Olbas like most people use: to open the nostrils before sleeping in case you got a cold.

I also like it on acupuncture points: if the point needs energy, Olbas works wonderful.

If the point is already full of energy, Olbas will do bad: your problem becomes worse.

I'm not selling Olbas, but I love it! I use it for more than a decade for sure.

Since the first time I bought it, without knowing what it did, I never stayed without olbas in the closet!

I just buy one or two big bottles a year, they last very long.

Everywhere I go, I take a small bottle with me, specially because of tick bites!!

They test energetically very good against tick bites. At least, psychologically, I feel they are doing something!

If you put just a speck on your tongue, you understand how strong this is.

Some people take one drop diluted in a glass of water, but I only did that once, when I was in a tropical country and got poisoned by food...


If not you don't find Olbas or similar mixtures, you can try with Tiger Balsams (Chinese shops).

I do think they have similar effects, even though I like OILS more than ointments, because they feel like penetrating more.

My Olbas motto is: Nothing survives Olbas.

(I'm sure something still survives Olbas, but it feels next to impossible, so strong this stuff is!)

But beware: people who are sensitive to smells may have problems with OLBAS and with ALL essential oils!
