Babesia Head Pressure go away during treatment with Mepron????????

Long time lyme sufferer here.  was on abx previous for 3 years, and i did get alot better.  still struggled with insomnia, terrible time falling asleep at a reasonable hour and last year started to slur words so back to llmd this year.  2 month into treatment with mepron had pressure in sides and back of head, been here every day last 2 months.  has anyone had this go away during mepron treament????  cant be a side effect from meds, as it popped up 2 months in.   I'm so worn out and it's hard to get out of bed everday, but i'm hopeful since i came pretty far, and the new llmd made a good case for babesia, which according to previous med records i was never on zith/meptron for more than a couple months.  sorry for ranting.....i'm expecting to maybe be zith/mepron for a year.  also taking minocycline.

Wow, sounds like the same thing I went through.

I went through the same pressure type headaches almost "ice pick headaches".  I was on mepron/zith (and artemesia) but it did not work for me After 5 mos I sought a different treatment (herbal) art, A-BAB, cryptolepsis and sawmento.  It seems to be working but slow....I've been at this babesia treatment overall for 7 mos.

The head pressure I seemed to get over after about 1 1/2 mos of being on a treatment that worked --- so hence the herbs. That took awhile.  When I saw I new LLMD he prescribed Wobynzm (sp?) for head pressure and inflammation (of which this is). This did not work for me but I did start taking tumeric which worked better for the headaches and inflammation all over my body.  So maybe try either one... of course, detoxing is also the issue and an overloaded liver which tends to affect the head (dizzy and headaches also).

I just started biaxin...mepron..plaquenil...and bicillin after 9 months doxy or ceftin along with rifampin and alinia. Have always had neck/back pain, disorientation, shortness of breath, chill, fatigue. Babesia Duncani's was equivocal. Since starting the biaxin/mepron combo about two weeks ago head pressure has increased as has fatigue while other symptoms have lessened. Especially in the morning and late afternoon like clockwork.

Anyone have a similar experience with babesia or mepron cocktail?
