I was given GSE by my LLMD as a supplement. I had an appointment today for the coinfection blood draw, and took one capsule about an hour before my appointment. In the waiting room, which was packed, my vertigo got so intense I almost left the office. I was getting the fully rotational kind of spinning, as opposed to my customary elevator/boat rocking/swaying vertigo. I managed to get through the blood draw, thankfully wink

But when I got home it was still pretty intense. GSE herx?

I definitely herxed on GSE. I am supposed to restart it but am building up to it! Must be working on the critters is what I tell myself!

What brand of GSE are you using? I use Nutribiotics. It is a liquid. I put about 18 drops every morning in high ph water and I use that to take my other morning supplements.I have never had a problem. I seem not to usually herx. That is a good thing in a way, but in a way it makes me wonder if i really have lyme. I did not have a positive from igenix but i have plenty of symptoms and I had 4 ind bands and 2 positive bands. It just seems that everybody is getting herx reactions and I don't have that big of a problem with it. Maybe just a little bit with a few things.

Allergy research group "paramicrocidin" 500 mg tablets 2x day. When I crashed out bad I had started the 5 mthf at the same time and I now know I can't tolerate that so am going to try again (but am scared hehe) I've become such a medication phobic!

If you have positive bands then it sounds like lyme. Somewhre on here is a thread that explains what bands are specific to lyme, I think it's in the new to lyme thread.

I tested neg for bartonella but my llnd thinks I have it and based on my sx's I have to agree. All the testing for these buggers is still pretty primitive in my mind.

How long have you been treating? Have you noticed any changes in your symptoms?
Perhaps you don't herx bad because your body is good at detoxing. Mine isn't with a gene mutation to boot and I've learned that this is why i'm so sensitive to everything. On top of being what my doc calls a pediatric weight.

You GSE is  probably a lot stronger then mine. I have been sick for many years. I have used different supplements from different natural drs to build the immume system maybe that is why I don't herx. I started abx in January but I am not taking them now. I would rather take natural supplements. I do feel better the last few years then I did originally, but not good. I get a lot of tingling on top of my head and I have a slight disequilbrium feeling. Also stomach problems. And many other things. I am not bedridden though. I am somewhat on the same page with you about becoming a medication phobic.  I am so tired of being sick. I just want to be normal and not have to take all these supplements and to be researching constantly. Also nobody wants to hear about it any more. I can't talk about it to friends and family much. They don't get it. Be well if possible. TTUL

Totally understand what you are saying aphysical wreck! That's why i'm so thankful for this board.

Sure enough I started the gse this am and herxed most the day. Buzzing in my head, dissconnected and dizzy. I just kept telling myself "ding dong the wicked bugs are dead and dying" !!!

I started GSE a week ago and I am definitely herx ing. I take pill form. I have been taking antibiotics for 6 months and wasn't feeling like I was herding much anymore…which makes me worried about antibiotics not getting it all! With the GSE I seem to be getting a new influx of herx and can't wait till I reach a plateau with that and more on the winning battle of lyme (where my good guys are outnumbering the bad).

In your previous post, you said you stopped Plaquinel and started GSE. Are you taking any treatments at all other than the GSE? Take it without being in treatment isn't a good idea as it only opens up the cystic (round body) form and releases it's contents - without killing the bacteria.
