newby looking for Dr in California

Googling Lyme disease doctor Thousand Oaks and Lyme disease doctor San Luis Obispo will give you two names. I go to the one in Thousand Oaks. We can't post names on this forum.

No, right now I am not doing great and I am open to alternative therapies. They are treating me for Babesia currently and I have been on the meds for over a year(off&on). Can't seem to test negative on the Igenex IGG but I do test negative on the IGM. Which confuses me about whether I truly have babesia now or just the markers from having had it. Question: I mean isn't that what would happen (one would have the marker not the active disease) if one had chicken pox as a child and got tested for it as an adult/ I don't understand when I am testing negative on the IGM; why I am considered positive and that I don't just have Lyme now. I have had a hard time communicating with the LLMD I have been using and I would like to get some new input about my situation. I have been wondering if treating the Lyme might give me a better quality of life?

I did try a local Chinese Medicine Dr and I did not do well on the herbs. I do have a history having problems with medications. I haven't completely given up on the chinese herbs but I am taking a break from trying new things when I'm this off.

Any recommendations regarding doctors etc is greatly appreciated.

Did you check your spam folder or box...whichever you know it as? I just copied and pasted it like I've done with others since just clicking on it sends me to a page that wants me to sign up with Microsoft. I'll try again.

I have been looking for a LLMD for about 4 years in the Chico, Ca. area. We have one doc named Dr. Johnson but he won't see anymore patients. I call each year and beg, but it gets me nowhere.

There are 2 that work together in the San Francisco/ Redwood City area, but I hear bad things about them. Like they only accept cash and its $750 first visit and $450 each time after and that they lose files and are not very professional. Plus its about 4 hrs away. Does any one know of any other Nor Cal docs?

I really need help with my foot pain. I am seeing a neurologist, but the amatriptlyn and neurotryplin don't seem to do anything but make me tired. And I don't want to use drugs like addictive pain killers.
