LDA (Lyme Disease Association) now accepting applications for LymeAid 4 Kids, a program that distributes money to families of uninsured children.
"Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to prevent development of chronic Lyme, yet parents often lack insurance coverage. The LDA created its LymeAid 4 Kids fund in 2004 with support from author Amy Tan, who has Lyme. LDA has distributed almost $250,000, and thanks to generous donors, LDA still has monies available."

I wonder if they would also work with parents who do have insurance, but the LLMD's or Naturopaths they are seeing do not accept insurance?

I know that it's based on financial need, so I don't think whether you have insurance that the doc will take matters. It can't hurt to check it out!! The worst they can say is no, but at least you've not let a possible opportunity go by.
