Wow. That is nuts. My doctor told me a few months ago that we were going to treat Babesia in a few months, when I could "handle" it, and I asked if she meant physically handle it. She kind of laughed, and said "No. Financially."

I hope you find a place that can get it discounted. I asked about the same thing awhile back, and I believe Traveler or TheWryter had some good resources.

I had a bad experience with Mepron, but that's just me.  When I started treating my Babesia with that and Azythromycin, after one month I had a terrible anaphalyatic reaction after drinking soy milk.  (Which, by the way, I am NOT allergic to)  I stopped all my abx and started treating with herbs.

I did not take it long enough to notice any difference in my symptoms.  But it was VERY expensive, I remember that.  Sorry I can't help you there.
