Can I ask whether a particular doctor is recommended or anyone's experience of them on here? Don't want to get anyone in trouble.

You can post the first initial of their last name - as in Dr. "B" for Dr. Burrascano - and then the area they practice, as in Chicago - but not an exact address.

It's G - M -A in California. Hope that's okay. They are being recommended by the UK LYme community, but don't know why them particularly. Or any other US recommendations please? If I was travelling from the UK, it wouldn't really matter where I went, as long as they were a good doc. Thank you.

Well, I just went through my listings and I have no clue who you are talking about!! LOL!!

Are you sure you need to come to the US for treatment? Depending on where you live, we have other members on here that live in the UK that might be able to help you find a doc near you. Are you close to Breakspear? I know that several members that used to be on here regularly went there for treatment.

If location here in the US doesn't matter and you wish to come to the US for treatment, I would suggest that you start a new thread - tell members a bit about yourself and ask them for recommendations for the best LLMD. You could title the thread something like "Need LLMD, who's the best?" Please don't forget to explain that you will be flying over from the UK so that members understand where you are coming from.

I have quite a few listings for here in the US, but I have not seen any of them and can only rely on the few people that have emailed me telling me what they thought of this doc or that one.

Thank you for your help. Yes, I know of Breakspear but I think they are treating quite conservatively now. There is also BCA in Germany which is highly regarded and I am considering it. But the US seems to be the destination of choice for many.
I do have the website link for GMA but maybe I'm not allowed to post it? Dr EG, Dr NN etc

I don't know if it is coincidence but that is the initials of the office I go to here in California. If I can figure out how I will PM you, or you can PM me. If that is ok? Oh I just saw the last posts initials and I'm pretty certain that is indeed the office I go to. :) I have only been once.

Imelda - Please do not post their website - that would act like an announcement out on the internet. And here in the US we have to protect the docs that are willing to help us. Some have lost their license to practice and have been forced to shut down their practices simply because they dare to use these abx to help us.

Of course, that's why I asked first, I'm just never sure how "open" a group or forum is. I didn't know that they were also persecuted in the USA, as much as they are here.

Unfortunately, yes they are persecuted here as well. And thank you so very much for asking!!!

If you would enable an email address (you can get one from here that ends in Healingwell.com) you could exchange emails with others that might have some suggestions for you.

Once you decide on which email you would like to use, go to your profile, go to "edit profile", then scroll down just a bit until you see "show my email" and choose that option. Please be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "submit" button to save your choices.
