First of all, I'm so very sorry that this is even happening with your daughter!!! I know that I was pretty much paranoid with my kids, although they were teens by the time I knew what was wrong with me.
Ask her what those foods taste like - that could tell you a lot! Do those foods have no taste to her? Or do they taste horrid? Is she on any meds/supplements that could possibly do this?
I did the crying for no known reason at times. Sometimes I knew it was because I was feeling hopeless or I was just so tired I was scared that I would never feel anything else, but there were times that I really couldn't tell anyone why I was crying - upsetting my hubby too.
The "wet" feeling could be due to nerves misfiring - sending the wrong signals. Ask her to describe why she thinks it feels wet. Is it cold feeling? Or does it feel like there is water running off her wrist? These are feelings I would get as well as being able to tell if it was warm or cold water.
I sure wouldn't ignore these symptoms - whether I was being paranoid or not! Does she show enough signs to warrant either seeing your LLMD or starting her on some herbs? Take a look at the Master symptom list in the "New to Lyme?" thread if you need a visual reminder of all of the possible symptoms.
