Hi PollyPolly!
Welcome to out community! I'm so glad you found us! I am so sorry however, that this is round 2 for you!
Although you aren't exactly new to Lyme disease, if you haven't yet, I would encourage you to read through our thread "New to Lyme? Start here!" that sits at the top of the forum. It's packed full of important information, symptom lists (as Lyme disease rarely is passed alone), helpful tips and links, and even a list of questions you can ask any doctor that you are seeking treatment from!
Have you tried eating before taking the Doxy? Some find that a small snack is enough, while others must eat a full meal to keep the Doxy from affecting them horribly.
Also you can take ginger root capsules to help with the nausea, and if the nausea gets really bad, you can take 2 tsp. of ground ginger root (like from your spice cabinet in your kitchen) and add it to 1 cup of hot water, sweeten it with stevia or other natural sweetener and sip down quickly. This has stopped some pretty severe nausea for me on many occasions.
Do you know if you have any co-infections? Bartonella frequently presents with painful feet.
I do have some names that I could share of Lyme Literate Docs in the area you mentioned, although I have no idea how good they may be as I live in another part of the country. Feel free to email me if you would like me to share those with you.
To send an email on here, click on either my user name on the left, or the little blue envelope under my user name. Please be sure to include your user name and what area you are wanting to find a doc. Thank you!!
