please help read my lymes results

If you haven't yet, I would greatly encourage you to read through the "New to Lyme? Start Here!" thread, as it's packed full of really important information, symptom lists (as Lyme is rarely the only infection passed at the time), helpful links and even a list of questions that you can ask any doctor that you are seeking treatment from.

After looking at your test results and reading your story, I would have to say that you are definitely seeing the wrong doctor. Those IND's got there somehow, and since those bands are specific to Lyme bacteria, well, you have Lyme disease.

You are right in assuming that taking abx (antibiotics) for two weeks then having blood drawn for Lyme testing wasn't the best idea. When doctors that have been trained properly do an abx challenge for a Lyme disease test, the patient takes abx for around 2 months then is off of them for a minimum of 6 weeks for the body to be able to respond to the bacteria....if it's going to.

So good for you for being your own health advocate!! You have likely avoided a lot of misery for yourself!

Now it's time to find you some real help! You can choose whether you wish to treat with abx only, holistically (usually herbal) or a combination of the two.

For information on finding a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor(LLMD) in your area, you can start a new thread titled something like:"Looking for LLMD/LLND in the _______ area." Although you will need to enable your email option in your profile in order to receive any recommendations, as we don't allow doctor's names and contact info to be posted on the forum for several reasons. You can enable your email option in your profile, under 'edit profile'. Be sure to click the submit button to actually save your preference.

You will want to find an ILADS (International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) trained doctor, as ID Docs (Infectious Disease Doctors) believe Lyme is hard to catch and easy to treat, and don't believe in the reality of chronic Lyme. Sounds like a typical scenario for someone with Lyme disease, no tests are "positive" yet everything seems to be going haywire!

Unless the doctors that you have been talking with have been educated with the same articles and studies that we talk about on here and some other Lyme forums, they haven't been taught what to even look for or that the tests are only designed to detect 4 or 5 strains of the over 300 strains of Lyme disease in the world. Some even believe that what's on the West Coast can't be seen on the East Coast and vice versa! We have European strains here as well as African strains as well, thanks to world wide travel by people and birds.

Do be careful to not try anything "too crazy" - we have a saying, 'don't kill yourself trying to kill the Lyme'. Stick to 'proven' protocols that have been developed by Professionals. Many of the herbal protocols are either discussed or are being used by those on this forum - either current or past members.

We have a pretty good search feature here too, just be sure to enter the term, Lyme, so that your results will mainly come from the Lyme forum as we have many other forums on this site.

Yes, I have heard of D-ribose, but it's not something that I have ever used due to it being a sugar. Not only is sugar bad for Lyme disease, but also for Candida, so I don't ever recommend it's use.

And I assume you meant L-arginine, not a mountain in Argentine. This can be helpful for some.
