Do ticks burrow?

Hi Everyone,

I don't recall ever having a bulls eye rash but if I did I probably didn't pay much attention to it because I had never heard of Lymes years ago.

My question is I did have an odd occurrence on my back years ago that itched a lot. In the center of my back between my shoulder blades it was like a long red scratch that lasted for months. I eventually went to the dermatologist and he said I probably just scratched myself. Odd thing is, I couldn't reach that area to scratch.

This area is where my itchiness began and it spread from there over the years. Now I'm itchy all over.

I looked at the photos and my scratch wasn't like a stretch mark. It was like a raised scratch a couple inches long that would show up on different parts of that area on my upper back.
