Activated charcoal or chlorella

If you had to pick one for removing toxins from the body including heavy metals which one would you pick?

I'm assuming it's not good to take both at same time, so I'm having a hard time picking one over the other.

I have only used activated charcoal and takesumi (carbonized bamboo). I like them both.

I used Dr. Jernigan's Neuro-Antitox as that binds up not only heavy metals but other toxins as well.  1 bottle lasted me 4 weeks.

I also used bentonite clay (I believe it helped).   I bought the one below and it tasted great!   But if you are taking any medications, do not drink bentonite clay as it will bind those medications as well.

Deejavu, I have been seriously considering either adding or switching to all herbals for treatment. First, I wanted to seriously increase my detoxification methods before doing so. The neuro-antiox is something I've been considering. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the greatest). How well would you rate this product in making a difference for you?

Also Denise, with the neuro antitox, is this meant to replace activated charcoal only or is there other functions this has in addition to detox (like also replace cat's claw too, etc.)? I'm not necessarily looking for other functions but if this is a direct replacement for activated charcoal or bentonite clay, then I would prefer to have the best detox supplement which you are highly recommending here.

Hi all,

Shelly, I never took activated charcoal and I may be taking chlorella if it's in the Green Vibrance I drink (have to check the ingredient list again) so as far as rating it, I really have nothing to compare the Neuro-Antitox to.  I just know it worked for me.  If you read about the product it states it binds up heavy metals, toxins, and more.

After taking the Neuro-Antitox I had more energy (lots of it!), my joint pains went away, my brain fog lifted, and I had no side effects at all.

I first started taking Jernigan's Borrelogen and I felt a HUGE difference within 4 weeks which shocked me.  Borrelogen targets the lyme bacteria and binds it up so the body can purge the dead lyme bacteria out of the body.  I had CNS problems so I called up the Hansa Clinic and they advised me to take the Neuro-Antitox formula and if I could, do coffee enema's.  I ordered the Neuro-Antitox (they recommended the CNS/PNS formula) and also felt a huge difference.  So I took both formula's together for 2 or 3 months, then I stopped the Borrelogen and started on Microbojen (still taking the Neuro-Antitox).  Then I took all 3 products together. 

I did this for about 12 months or longer (I wish I had written all this down but I didn't).   I also took detox baths (still do), dry skin brushing and coffee enema's.   Today the only supplement I take is Green Vibrance and try to eat as healthy as I can. 

Cppoly, I believe when one is taking the Neuro-Antitox Formula, one does not  have to take activated charcoal or any other detoxing product.   This formula is very strong minus the side effects.  The only other thing I did was take detox baths. 

This is what worked for me and I have been well for many years now.  The only other product I may order soon is the Paragen for parasites just in case I have them.

I went with chlorella because it's easier to take along with other things. I see chlorella more as a tonic detoxifier and charcoal seems like it's more aggressive - but I think with that you have to worry about it binding to other things. Based on what I've been told which hopefully is correct, with chlorella you don't have to worry as much about it binding to other things, so it's much less of a hassle. It's also got a lot of other nutritional value as well.

Just make sure you get it from a clean source!

I know your not supposed to take charcoal with antibiotics but is that the same for chlorella? My green vibrance drink has it in it
