there was a thread a few years back about this with very, very good information, but i was unable to bump it b/c it has been locked d/t being too long.

would like to hear of anyones experiences w/ heavy metal toxicity & treatment.  thank you in advance.

I'm on an amino acid detox formula. I haven't had further testing to see if it has reduced, though. I still have old fillings to remove before I test again. There are other methods, but I don't have any experience with them. The product I'm on has my doctor's label on it, so I don't know who made it.

I had a 24 hour urine test for porphyrins which came high. My doc said I have heavy metal toxicity and wants to start chelation IVs. I am not sure about it bc he does not even know what metals those are?

garden, how long have you been on it? tolerating well?

I'm sorry, I didn't see your post after I posted. I've been on it a couple of years, but I haven't been consistent about taking it. I started up again and was feeling better, but I don't know if it was the detox or other things I was doing along with it. I really need to get my fillings out, then I should notice some changes.

I have not had any chelation done yet. I think they should know what metals I have? Right? Not just that porphyrins are high? It was my LLMD. I will ask next time I go.
