I thought when I read it I was getting the sense that I could not fully conclude what side they were on. What clued you in on it being IDSA?

When it started discussing chronic lyme, post-lyme, neurologic issues etc I thought it was less likely to be IDSA sanctioned. But the parts that kept making me suspect this article was words like 'majority respond', the 'vaccine' comments, dismissing long term symps without positive test or clinical eval (are there dr's that would give someone the dx of Lyme without clinical presentation ????, most doctors I know turn and run the other way and the first mention of lyme).

Still I think the way this was written is kind of making the case for chronic Lyme but at the same time trying to minimise some of the known issues, which is why I think I struggled to fully accept it's content. Isnt there a saying 'keep your enemies closer'....seems if this is IDSA/CDC backed they are getting better at subtly minimizing the lyme expereince. We need to be aware how they are presenting the info so we can be informed enough to counter.

Forgive me, Roxie. I've been operating with a migraine and I saw some phrasing in this article that was like IDSA uses, using Steere as an example for treatments but then with further reading today, I saw that they were including IDSA assumptions, but also including ILADS info as well.

Although I still find several statements that are quite disturbing, like this one:
"In the majority of patients suffering from late Lyme disease, however, a robust antibody response is present."

So be careful to take the good and leave the bad from this article.
