Was diagnosed with lyme and mycoplasma.. After 2 months of iv doxycycline and much improvement my blood mycoplasma levels are normal! Feeling happy and excited to start iv rocephin to knock this lyme out now..

Most of my symptoms were primarily neuro but some are still persisting, hoping this rocephin kicks the lymes butt in my brain... I want full function back!!!

Anyone else have mycoplasma and lyme? Results?

Been battling lyme successfully for a while but just diagnosed with mycoplasma after trying to get to bottom of digestive bloating and peripheral neuropathy. 

How high was your mycoplasma level and was it IGG or IGM?  What neuro symptoms do you attribute to myco? 

I am doing herbal treatment for it.

I have mycoplasma and was wondering what herbal treatment you take for mycoplasma. I got the C.S.A formula for the Babesia
from woodland essence and was wondering do I take this with water
juice or just on its own. Its very strong with alcohol. That I could taste.

For those with mycoplasma, do you have elevated IGM? I'm still trying to figure out what I believe about my IGG being through the roof - it's so hard to know if it's chronic infection or autoimmune...

...does anyone know how to differentiate symptoms of mycoplasma from those of lyme & all the other co-infections? I've been on my own with treatment for a while now using herbs but it's so hard to know which infections to focus my efforts on, so hard to know what I actually "have" and what's actually causing the brunt of my symptoms!

springsjean, are you saying mycoplasma is likely the causing of digestive bloating for you? I've been trying to figure that out since 2 octobers ago and mycoplasma was my main suspect for a while for a lot of things (I think it flared up like crazy post-surgery) but I don't remember ever suspecting it as a cause of the GI stuff...

moon61, Buhner has a pretty extensive protocol in his book about lyme co-infections - I can't really boast for its efficacy but I read the whole book and started the protocol, just had to stop all treatment for other reasons.

Did the dr test from mycoplasma from the get go or just ended up testing for it later? Just curious. I also had digestive bloating and PN but it has decreased and I plan on it being completely diminished soon, so stay hopeful it does get better. Mine was mycoplasma pneumoniae igM.. My neuro symptoms from mycoplasma were anxiety, depression, neuropathy, fatigue, brain fog, and memory loss.. All these have improved but I am attributing some of these to the borrelia too. Don't know my exact level just know it was high and is now normal.

My doc likes of use doxy if there are co infections and then rocephin for lyme.. Other things I have been doing to make sure I'm getting better.. upper cervical chiropractic to make sure my body is functioning at 100%, whole food vitamins, fish oils, liposomal vitamin c, artemisia, allicillin, raw foods diet, wheat grass and juicing as much as possible and exercise when you feel up to it knowing you will probably feel like crap for a few days after.

I am using A-Myco from Byron White. I am feeling great these days with the peripheral neuropathy and bloating, digestive spasms being the only concerning symptoms left. The lyme and bartonella seem to be gone and that is why my LLMD tested me for myco.

My IGM was negative and IGG was only 305 so its not by far through the roof. However, my LLMD said that very very few with myco have IGM come back positive but they believe it is the cause of the problems and thus being treated.

My peripheral neuropathy is idiopathic according to neurologist I went to despite having lyme and coinfections. typical. But I have read that myco can cause it so I am hopeful that maybe this is the answer.

Hi- I know this thread is old but I am interested in what how you all treated your mycoplasma? My mycoplasma IGg was 800! I'm on doxt 100 mg twice a day.
