Experience with Fish Antibiotics?

I don't want to start a topic about if acquiring tropical fish amoxicillin or doxycycline is the proper thing to do but rather curious if anyone in a similar situation with no insurance or prescription is using it for Lyme disease treatment and where they acquire it, cost and brand name.
How long have you been using it and how do you feel it's working?

For those wondering what the heck I am talking about there is antibiotics sold for tropical fish that are the exact same medication sold to humans for a fraction of the cost. There are many articles and websites that claim it's identical medication and there are those who dispute that. I'm not looking to argue those facts just curious if anyone in this section is using them to treat Lyme disease and how they feel it is working for strictly opinion based conversation. Of course a doctor and legal prescription is the proper thing to do.
