Tomorrow my day starts at 8:30am when I go to my integrative doctor who started treating me for Lyme and everything else to go through all of my labs. She does not believe I have coinfections when in fact I do. I stopped the IV's 2 months ago after being on them consistently since last March. The last 10 symptoms are Babesia related and the IV was not working on them. So send prayers for a productive convo!

Then I go to work...

Then I have a 1pm conference call with my herbalist/nutrionist (she knows Lyme and it's ugly friends inside and out). I think herbals is what's going to get me across the finish line as well as beefing up my diet and detoxing more.

Then I work...

Then I leave at 2:30pm to go to my ENT doctor just to tell him (Meclizine did not work sir...put me on zithromax please)!

My ears are doing something (popping, more wax build up than ever and sometimes I feel like I can hear the ocean in my ear canal)...I guess I am ready for a cruise lol. I have head pressure as well.

Then I end my day with a parent teacher conference for my little one to see how he is doing at the preschool :-) (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)!

So stay tuned for my report on what folks have to say. I told everyone I will be symptom free this year and soon...no choice. The running trail is calling me...the African dance floor is calling me...the mic where I perform spoken word is calling me...fun things to do with my lil guy including gymnastics and African drumming class for him is definitely calling.

I'm determined and have a lot of faith.

Hi everyone...I was wiped out yesterday. Had a good appt with my PCP and ny herbalist/nutritionist. I had extensive labs done through Genova Labs called NutraEval which covers vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It shows you what's good, what's borderline and what's in the red. This helped guide the convo a lot with both appts. Instead of IV's I'm going to add a good B complex to restore some of my B's and started the Molybdenum supplement today because my body is depleted of it.

I decided that my PCP is good for my overall health, labs, great guidance and advice. She's brought me a long way. She also showed me how to wean off of Lorazepam more effectively. After I cut the pill then pinch away a little each day. Cutting more was becoming a problem. So we will see. I also need to detox way more!

My herbalist and I have agreed to go gangbusters on Babesia. I'm sensitive to alcohol so I'm going to try burning off the alcohol with boiling water. Drop the Artemisia drops into a cup.and wait for it to get to room temp.

Also adding in a couple of supplements for anxiety and to help wean.

We all agreed that I need to get off the Lorazepam to see what is causing what! So its time to get off of it but safely.

Now for the ENT doc...he's a really great guy but he's not educated on Lyme and wanted to prescribe patches that go behind my ear to help with my balance.

To me that is like slapping a band aid on a broken arm.

So todays test...see how long I can go without Lorazepam. See how I feel before it and after...also to take less than yesterday.

Before I took it my balance felt almost normal...I took it and it went right to my head and my balance was tossed...but because I pinched some off the pill today my balance was not off for long and I ended up having a great day!

Lastly....this is it...I'm getting another MRI. It's been about 7 months just to see what its looking like up there and make sure everything is still stable.

That's it! Oh and I might have that MTHFR...or whatever its called. I need to see but my herbalist is pretty sure I have that gene. If I do that really explains some more things.

Whew! Sorry everyone...that was long. So stay tuned. Less Lorazepam, a few new supplements, increase in Teasel Root and Artemisia Annua!

Oh darn! I forgot that Trav! They actually postponed it. It was moved to today and then guess what...a snow storm came and shut down the city! Sigh. So stay tuned.

Also I started Molybdenum on Saturday and so far so good. I feel a slight shift. Also I had to lower my CoQ10 intake because it can lower your blood pressure.

The pinching method with the Lorazepam is working out great too. Praying I feel a huge shift soon!!!! After my MRI I'm going to schedule a couple of colonics and one of my doctors who is really close to my house just ordered an aqua chi foot bath and will charge a good rate. I love my other guy but he is a bit far. I will keep using him from time to time...he's great. But I love not having to travel far on weekends.

Oh that patch that the ENT doctor prescribed to me is only for nausea and vomitting...say what??? And look at the side effects:

Are we serious???? Look up any and everything before getting it. I'm not getting this. I have poor balance without the nausea and vomitting thank God!

Yep! We do have to be careful to evaluate if the side effects are worth the help we may get from a medication!! A while back I had to explain to a doc that I wasn't going to start taking more meds to counteract the side effects of the meds I was on - no matter how much pain and dysfunction I was having at the time!

Congrats on your progress with coming off the Lorazepam! turn Believe it or not, I'm FINALLY off of the Trazodone!!! I thought I would never get off of it!! I know that you too will be off of your med soon!
