Doxycycline and dehydration!

I am on day 7 doxyccline 100 mg twice a day and was on amoxicillin prior to that for a week. I have been drinking a lot of water and yet feel like not peeing a lot like I used to and my mouth and eyes are dry.

Could it be that the doxy is causing dehydration? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I was on ceftin I was super thirsty for a little while. It went away after about a week, it did not start though until about two weeks in on ceftin - my doctor (and me too, now) think it was from a herx and my body was trying to flush out the toxins. Just make sure you are balancing your water intake with electrolytes; sodium magnesium. I use a product that mineralizes my water.
