Noise in head

Whenever it bend my head back, I get this mild crunchy like sound... Always really weird.

I have it and I think it's inflammation in the spinal cord.

Painful.

I have that crunchy thing too - as well as almost constant tinnitus. Also, it's much harder to bend my neck backwards than it used to be. I also have that "out of body" thing going on - like I'm not fully present in my physical self - sort of like I'm watching things from behind a window.

That awful 'out of body' stuff is so scary. It is exactly like watching a movie of someone's elses life but through your own eyes. I wish people would understand this when they interact with me. I'm there, but not fully. It also takes time to understand and process what people are saying to me. Like I'm hearing the sound track a few seconds behind the track.

And ginger, you are not at all a weirdo! Unfortunately you are right there with the rest of us. I am so sorry.

I'm a new member and haven't been diagnosed.  My LLND suspects at least Lyme and Bartonella but my test results wont be in until April.  So I have a bunch of super bizzare symptoms that seem focused around my head/neck/face and throat + GI.  I've had these weird sensations in my neck: a constant pulsation/throbbing, a crunching noise without movement, a snapping sensation (like if someone snapped their fingers under my neck) and a tapping sensation like 24/7 in one specific spot (different from pulsation).  The back of my neck also seems like its shaking also.

Weird thing was that my neuro could feel something "weird" in my neck that stumped her but the neck MRI came back normal.

I got something from an herbalist - like a magnesium phosphate salt or something that I take a few times a day.  I'm not sure what it is called exactly but its helped reduce the weirdness in my neck.

 

definitely!  she isn't allowed to write the full description on the container.  She wrote something like mags phos (for calming nerves)  So i'm going back for a refill in a week and i'll get the full name and promise to post.  They are tiny white pills that dissolve in water.  I drop them in my lemon water and you would never notice. I also have tremors worse than you could believe and the bobble head shaking neck and these pills calmed everything right down.  Not a cure but it lets me do a few things around the house and stopped me from shaking in my sleep too. (I have lots of bad symptoms!)
