Yes, I had some pretty profound fatigue when I took the rifampin treatment, so much that it pretty much knocks me out and I just lay there or sit in a chair. Fatigue is actually a side effect of the drug. But it makes for a nice bartonella treatment because it takes away the anxiety, insomnia, but also makes you tired.
I took it in the morning but then found myself just sitting doing nothing with my eyes closed, so I took it in the evenings and that helped out. I found that it would be the first few hours after taking the dosage that I had the most effect of fatigue.
Are you taking it twice daily or once daily? I did once daily 600 mg right after getting home from work.
Working up to that, I'm actually at 450MG right now, going up to 600 either tomorrow or the next day. Wish me luck. I plan to eventually take the 600 all at once, on an empty stomach, as I'm heard that's the best way to get the maximum benefit. Sorry to hear it made you that tired, it certainly doesn't make me that exhausted, just a little bit more sleepy.
