Burning in legs and feet!! Will it go away

Feels like fire running thougout my legs, numbness in feet and legs,, will these feeling go away? It's does feel better when I walk for some reason! I'm on dox for 21 days have eight days left,, will this end?

I had the same sensation, and when I walked, I felt better!! and to comfort you, it does go away with proper treatment - I no longer have that feeling at all.

I honestly think you have not been on a high enough dose of doxy. I was only on it twice a day for two weeks, I increased it thereafter (Drs orders)

Chapelle- I'm thinking the same thing!!! But my PC just saying to stop after the 21 days and wait to see what happens after a month without taking anything. That makes me nervous being that time is important with Lyme

I was treated for Lyme Disease after an igenx test by a doctor. I then went to a lyme disease doctor and he said I had a co-infection and gave me 4 antibiotics Azithromycin, Bactrim, Rifampin, and minocyclin.

A few weeks in I started to get cold water / wet sensations all over my body. It eventually turned into burning and stinging also.

I stopped taking the antibiotics 6 months in and the sensations went away slowly over 2 years, but come back full strength whenever I have an upper respiratory infection without antibiotics.

Some months after I stopped I eventually felt a constant slight numbness and burning in my feet. This made me very scared, but thankfully it only lasted 4 weeks and suddenly went away.

I eventually went to Johns Hopkins who said they thought my condition was immune mediated. They gave me a small fiber skin biopsy which was negative and discharged me without any way to confirm their suggestion or the cause.
