horrible day !

how do you feel after taking mepron a while? I am on rifampin mincycline twice a week and azithromycin daily. I am feeling so bad, I cannot function, I cry every day, and I am miserable. I cant' sleep at night, and got so upset I had to take a vicodin and 2 mg xanax.

I keep thinking there is got to be something else wrong with me. I am having shooting headaches again, on the other side of my head, feel like i have the flu. I am sick of feeling so bad.

I am seeing my llmd monday next week. I am going to tell him I am going to die if I can't get some relief. I don't care if I take pain pills, xanax to get some relief. I have never suffered like this in my life.

so sorry to hear you are struggling so much! if you felt worse after starting the meds, then it may be the rifampin doing this. It is very harsh and some people just can't tolerate it, and can definitely cause headaches. definitely speak to your Dr about this possibility.

I'm sorry you are feeling so terrible. I don't know whether you remember, but just a few weeks ago I was feeling the same way--and had been since about August or Sept. I wanted to die, I was so depressed and full of anxiety. Now I've been anxiety free for more than a week, and I couldn't be more grateful! I happen to believe it was the addition of malarone and then rifampin (a month later) that helped me start to turn the corner. These were about the fifth and sixth med I'd been on, not to mention several herbal antimicrobials. My point being--I think it's sometimes a matter of finding the right med, or combo of meds, before the bug that is causing you the most problems starts to be killed of. Then you will begin to feel better. Hang in there!
