Putting "Subject" In Post Title Please

I don't know who to ask, I'm thinking one of the  Forum Moderators, so I'm writing this as an open request to any of them.

When we have members who don't put any type of 'subject' in the title of their post, can you please request them to do so, or at least put one in that purtains to the subject?

This is frustrating for some of us who have to open these posts to see what the subject is, only to find out it's nothing that applies, maybe.

I'd go ahead and ask each person from each untitled post to do so, but that's not going to happen. Plus, I imagine people will get pretty sick of it. So, I'm asking the moderators, or maybe people will read this and start to put a 'subject' in their titles.

Sorry if I'm coming off negatively. I just hope this gets addressed.

I am guessing that many who are really sick (some are sicker than others) have a hard time posting to begin with and don't think to put in a "subject" in the title.  

It never bothered me...

Why would you presume it is too much to ask for? A simple kind question to the moderators will always be taken into consideration, that is our job. But our job is above all going through the threads, which is a huge job.

The threads with no subjects (much more of an exception than a habit) are often first posts from new members who are not yet used to posting on this forum, or from members who just forget. We all know what Lyme & co can do to one's concentration.

I will inform the co-moderators about your question.
Will that be ok for you?

It's not a matter of not wanting to change the titles of a thread, but having the time to do it.
We moderators do this as volunteers, and have a lot to deal with ourselves, besides the forum. I myself am still in the midst of treatment. We love what we do, but can not always keep up with all the posts. The content is more important than the presentation, if you know what I mean. We first have to make sure that the forum rules are not being violated, and that is not a small job.

I understand that it is not easy for you, that what you need in your personal life is often ignored. I felt that the way you phrased your question, that there was an underlying personal issue, cause I felt your question having an irritated undertone. We are doing our very best to keep the forum working and peaceful.

I know that asking for help is not easy, I have the same problem, especially when it's ignored or forgotten once you've overcome that huge initial hesitation to ask for help. I'm a very independant person, always have been, it's difficult to have to admit that I need help sometimes.

I learned though to ask for help, and if people ignore me I tell them I feel hurt or disappointed because I feel that my question for help didn't get any response, or that I'm receiving criticizm about my way of living when I'm just in need of help. And believe me, it caused some friction, but expressing myself like I learned in the book below, avoided difficult discussions, fights or long lasting silences.
A dear friend adviced me to read Non Violent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg, and it really helped me see how communication works, that a simple change in expressing what you want can do wonders. Sometimes we have to be the smarter one... I'm not saying that you express yourself poorly, at all, please don't think that (that was my first reaction: does he think I have bad communication skills? But I was so wrong in thinking that, he offered me a very powerful tool). Sometimes we have to be the smart one to make things happening.
A must read, a very powerful tool that will serve you for the rest of your life. It takes some exercise, but you will see instant results.
