You'll Get Through This - Max Lucado

I am finishing up this book by Max Lucado. First I am gratefull to be able to read again, a little at a time. I am doing one chapter a day now, about 8-10 pages, big print. I really missed being able to read more than a paragraph or two at a time. Seemed internet was manageble in some cases but not books. So this is an improvement.

I wanted to let those who need some encouragement spiritually and emotionally that I found this book to be an encouragement. If you need some encouragement I recommend it. Has a 2013 copywrite.

I have often said I feel as though I am going through a Job, Joseph, Nebuchadnezzar moment (years) and praying God will turn this suffering and loss into good.

Our ladies Sunday School class just studied this book you mentioned and it has been encouraging to me as well. Anything that brings hope and encouragement during times of fear and despair is so very helpful.

I find this forum to be a God-send. Although I don't post messages much, I've become a regular reader of this forum and pray for this group of wonderful people often, while continuing to search for ways to help my daughter who has LD.

DEMom, glad you found this book an encouragement. I have one chapter left. Wondering if I should reread it a second time or find something else for daily study.

Opugirl, Job is a tough book to tackle but I think those of us in this battle and all the suggestions we have been given by others or the lack of suppot puts us in a position to appreciate all that Job lost and yet would not turn against God in the face of so much loss. We are being sifted.
