anyone's tinnitus go away?

ugh tinnitus. I have had lyme and co's about 8 months and the tinnitus for about 2 months. started after a ten day doxy treatment I did just before I started my big treatment with my llmd.

there are days when it is quieter but last two days it has been blaring. It may have to do with the herx from the rifampin.

I hope to one day wake up and the tinnitus is gone. Is this possible or is this just something I have forever now?

anyone else get rid of lyme related tinnitus and if so how?

Mine is completely gone. I think it's all the detox I have done. Colonics, FRI sauna, rebounding, detox IVs at Sponaugle, green coffee enemas, detox baths. Good luck, this is quite an annoying symptom!

good to hear! I am hoping once I am done with the antibiotics I can do serious detox and get rid of this.

I have tinnitus too. Started off as a rattling, then loud echoing, now a ringing. My left ear is in bad shape. My very first symptom was a fluttering in my ear. I'm hoping this will resolve too. The tinnitus came on, I think as a herx so I'm hoping it's in the process of healing.

This will sound completely strange but I've noticed it a few times now...and it just happened again so I figured I'd post.

So, I gargle constantly with warm water and salt, trying to stop the burning in my throat. And I've noticed that it temporarily stops the ringing in my ear. Weird. The tinnitus does come back but it also goes away for a while after I do this.

Mine is now 100% gone. I haven't had any tinnitus for weeks now and it hasn't come back. All I did was keep up with my antibiotics.
