Swollen lymph nodes and itchiness

I have a biopsy of a lymph node tomorrow, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation or knows of someone else who has....

I'm very scared at the moment and hoping for some peace of mind. I have a swollen node in the upper left side of my neck - as found on the ct scan to be 1.5 cm, and about 4 days ago I started getting an aching sort of pain in my right shoulder near my collar bone... And when I felt the area I found a new lump, that seemed to appear out of nowhere...

This one really worries me bc of the location, its soft and moves around some, but I'm freaked out as I've also started getting itchiness off and on - it bounces around, like I have bug bites in multiple places, then it will go away for a bit, then return... This has been going on for about 4 days as well.

I've been on antibiotics for 1 month & 2 weeks, can the itchiness and swollen node(s) be related to Lyme, and/or treatment?

Please let me know if you or someone you've talked to had a similar experience, and what the outcome was, please!? Even if the outcome wasn't positive.

I'm so terrified it could be something even worse, but I want to hear any/all scenarios....

I had chronic swollen nodes and itchiness for years... turned out I was battling chronic reactivated EBV. I think it's common to be susceptible to viral infections with lyme & co. and/or when you're going through treatment. I had relief with antivirals.

And this may or may not be of any comfort but I have had several friends who have also had neck node biopsies and they were all benign. I, too feel a small hard nodule in my neck but it comes and goes and whenever I'm at my Dr she can't feel it! So, we're watching it and she offered the explanation that sometimes, your body detoxes better than at other times, so for now we're assuming it's just that. It is good that you're having it biopsied. Stay positive!

I've had chronically swollen nodes off and on my whole life. I am having this issue right now.

I have them down my sides and even in my groin at times. All along my jaw and my submandibular, cervical and axillary.

If you look up Buhner + swollen Lymph nodes you will find a link to a question someone asks about swollen lymph nodes and what Buhner recommends. 

Buhner says Red Root is what he always recommends and he explains why the nodes swell up.

I just saw a person on a facebook page for histamine issues say that she used Buhner's protocol for one issue and her all over the body itching cleared up completely. 

My nodes are very tender and sometimes cause straight up pain to a degree. So anyone else's hurt and is that Bart?

Maine, do you take Vitamin B2? I read that it's good for puffy eyelids (I can't seem to be able to spell the technical word for it right now, something like blepharitis) along with a few other things that I needed to take care of. I just couldn't figure out why my eyelids were so puffy, change of diet just wouldn't help. Sure enough if I take 25 mg B2 at least two times a day, my eyelids are not puffy. My daughter had the same result.

B2 is also good for mobilizing toxic iron and copper stores out of the liver, which is the main reason I started taking it. I have a lot of symptoms of biounavailable copper. B2 is good for something to do with the heart, too, but I can't remember specifically what. I'll get the link to the article.

I have a copper IUD... Is that potentially bad?

Oh god!! What can it cause, I've had some increase I. Symptoms since having it placed. Lots more cardiac issues in particular and on a trip to the ED during an arrhythmia while in the back of the ambulance I said "this may sound crazy but could a copper IUD cause problems" I was told "no. Not that I always believe no...

Maine, I had to go to work today, did you find anything about copper and the

IUD?   I have some good links about copper if you want them.
