It is more than likely neuropathy, very common with Lyme, can be a very bothering symptom. A lot of us have these sensations.
Just a few examples: something crawling under your skin, parts of your skin suddenly feels cold or warm without an external cause, feeling of raindrops falling on you skin, tingling, sudden sharp stabbing pain, numbness in parts of you body (suddenly one side of my face or my torso can go numb for several hours), etc...
Patients that are better say it goes away.
I tend to restart b12 injections when the tingling and crawling gets worse (this often happens when I am doing worse. i consider it as an alarm phase indicating me to go slower and rest more, but this is personal, I don't know if others feel that connection between increased neuropathy and doing worse).
