dry heaving in AM

So this started in January for me after being poisoned from one ativan pill. (which further brought out lyme for me) Never in my life have I dry heaved. It seems more from the throat than the stomach. Happens in the AM only. Had my throat scoped in Jan. All was well. Resolves for a little while in AND but keeps coming back. Does anyone else have this?

This is horrible! do you have bartonella? I cant remember, bc I know bart is known for stomach issues.

when I was at my worst I was dry heavinig, but as soon as I started treatment with the doxy, it went away and never came back.

I don't get dry heaving - but I definitely have something in my throat - feel it during the day..and sometimes food seems to sit part way down my throat.
At night, I am making awful noises according to my husband...like I've got something in the bottom of my throat - phlegm...or ?

I was waking up gagging/coughing for several months,...but that has subsided...I'm still waking up several times a night...but not gagging anymore.

Finally got my ENT appointment - end of July.

Yes had dry heaves every morn for about a month and a half.

Ps i just spent the last hour and a half listing my symptoms, timeframe, resolution but my ipad wont let me sign on the the site!!


Errrgh- working on figuring it out. The dry heaves will resolve with treatment. They suck.

That used to happen to me. It started to go away with treatment. I have bartonella as well.

Oh boy do I wish I was pregnant instead of this misery! Unfortunately just very, very sick from our lyme and friends. Start to feel a little better and this always comes back. I haven't done anything for Bart though.

Dry heaving sux. Sorry you're experiencing it. It was so violent for hours e v e r y morning for months-- really prefer not to use the word hate but I did.

OHH, so Bart. causes nausea? I have episodes of terrible nausea, but always at night, not in the morning.

Tera- dont know what causes it but boy were the dry heaves TERRIBLE- kind of think that was the worst symptom.

So Tera, this happens to you at night? Do you dry heave or it is nausea?
