I have been reading about
the importance of detoxing.
This is what I currently do:
Drink lots of water with organic lemon daily.
Dry brush my skin daily, sometimes 2X daily
After dry brush - epsom salt bath for 20 minutes daily.
psyllium husks - 1X daily - for cleansing colon
exercise - daily
I am going to add:
exercising on a pilates machine - you lay on your back and push off a mini-trampoline with your feet....sort of like a rebounder, but you're on your back.
Silimarin and dandilion to cleanse the liver/gallbladder
Parasite cleanse
Question: the last two - Once I've done the silimarin and the parasite cleanse..I don't continue with them daily indefinitely, do I?
How often should I do the Silimarin and parasite cleanse? Once a month? or?
What organ am I missing? I'm detoxing the skin, colon, kidneys? (lemon water?), lymphatics (exercise?), will add liver/gallbladder
I don't really want to do enemas...

I definitely would not continue to do a parasite cleanse. You can do one periodically but it isn't good to stay on those detoxes.
I think the adding exercise sounds like a great plan.
I think everything you are doing is sufficient, but maybe others on here will have some more things you can do. lol I didn't want to do enemas either

Nope - I draw the line at enemas. :)
Oh - I also add essential oils to my detox bath - one helichrysum - is a detox oil.
I also have my husband massage and rub my shoulders/back almost daily.
Also buy most of veggies/fruit from local area - if not local, try to buy organic.
Am currently off gluten.
Get fresh air daily.

I just had a consult with my doctor today and asked him about
how to detox while I am on the antibiotics. These were his things to do
liposimal gluthione
milk thistle
reishi mushroom powder
and another liver cleanse I am not sure of

I have that same pilates machine. :) That tramp part really works out your legs and abs. I try to do it a few times a week since I got so week after going through my mom's death process. I do some arm exercises on it too and hope to add more.
You're doing a great job in learning what you can do yourself to help with the healing. Keep it up!

Garden Peace - thanks! Prior to my illness, my father had a decline in his health...he is now in full care facility. I was daddy's girl...and this hit me hard. I was running myself ragged - working 9 hour days at a very stressful job with only two 10 minute breaks - then driving to the facility to see my dad almost every day...then home...making dinner...
It's no wonder it hit the fan.
So, I can relate to what you've experienced with your mom. Emotionally it is so difficult.
My dad was independent living - had surgery...and ended up on Ativan (doc prescribed 4X daily), and Zopiclone (sleep med) - when he got out of hospital. Within 4 weeks he was "gone" mentally. A psych nurse visited him and told me to throw out the Ativan. She said no elderly people should be on it. I was against it to begin with, but his girlfriend pushed me away from his care. Where is she now? Gone. Within two months he went from independent living...to not even being able to feed himself...wearing depends full time...etc. No signs of stroke...or any abnormalities on the brain....
Kate: I will look up glutathione. Milk thistle is good for the liver..and also dandilion and garlic, too.
