I think I know the answer to this question, but I wanted to reach out for feedback from your experiences and learning.
I recently had to stop anti-microbial treatment as it was really taking me out of the game...I became WAY too sensitive. I've spent 4 months in constant pain (swollen and painful joints), barely able to walk, and when the elbows swell up, barely able to do...well...anything (elbows don't get noticed until they stop working! ;) And, for as many years as I've had Lyme, I've never had nerve pain...but these past months, I have...with a vengeance.
Anyhow, when we stopped, we continued and even ramped up on the detox I was doing. This included tripling my dose of Renelex (kidney detox), doubling my dose of Itires (lymph detox), and staying on a low dose of Toxex (general detox, good for heavy metals) and I added Ion Cleanse foot baths into the mix (I can't tolerate baths or saunas or any kind of massage right now). One week into that routine and it really seemed like I was coming out of the woods. Then we added two additional formulas: Apo-Oedem (general help for fluid retention) and Mundipur (cellular detox). Within two days, I was in a tailspin. In that short amount of time, the swelling had returned to knees, ankles, elbows...and a whole host of pass-out-inducing nerve pain in my thoracic spine, lower back and legs. My ND said she'd never heard of anyone reacting to Apo-Oedem and Mundipur in this way, and we immediately stopped...but maybe we were detoxing too quickly. Now 3 days since then, and I'm still in pretty poor shape and grasping for straws as to what to do next.
Has anyone had this experience? And what have you done to resolve it?
I'm feeling pretty down-trodden right now, not being quite sure exactly why I went from 'improving' to 'feeling worse than ever before.'
Thanks, and best wishes!!!
