Hi guys. How much is igenex lab? I heard 200 dollars or possibley a lot more? I am not sure if I should order now before my appointment with LLMD on July 22. Only band 23KD igm showed up on my western blot, which is Lyme specific. Is that enough to know I have Lyme or should I find out more?

Also, how do I order it and what test do I have to do? So confused! Someone once mentioned to run test 188 and 189? Is this true?

My husband and I really don't have a lot of money and we already have to play 875 for first LLMD appointment.

call igenex and they will email you their price list. it has a price for every test.

I just had my Igenex test done - I just did the Western Blot and it i believe was $200 plus the Fedex charge. We, too can't afford it. If only I had done this 9 months ago...now I can't work...and subsequently we are going into debt.

I think that's the best bang for your buck. Can you get your PCP to do the blood draw for Igenex? Then you would have the results when you see your LLMD on July 22nd. That way, if you are diagnosed with lyme, you can start treatment then.

I believe the complete panel is $475 plus Fedex.

I dont know what the procedure is in the US but here in Canada a physician has to sign it. I went toa ND and she signed it and did the blood draw and sent it to Igenex via Fedex. You could take it to your doc and then go to a lab for the blood draw.

I would think your western blot with band 23+ is enough for LLMD. That and my symptoms were enough for LLND. I would save my money for treatment. Good luck!
