There is a 'super moon' happening tonight and will continue through tomorrow night. For those that don't know yet, a full moon or super moon will often cause a herx-like effect for many Lyme patients.
So if you notice that your symptoms are increased, be sure to up your detoxing routines for a few days and get some extra (& likely much needed) extra rest this weekend!! Choose this weekend to pamper & care for yourself a bit!
All of this will likely settle back down in a few days. For me, I noticed that one day before, the day of and the day after a full moon would be hard.

Ahhhh, makes sense! It's nice to know there's a reason for this headache today! This too shall pass.

Literally I always get worse out of nowhere just out of the blue There would be a day where I would feel off, extra tired, extra fatigued and every time that happens sure enough the next night is a full moon. The first time I thought it was a coincidence the second time I was skeptical then this time I'm like ok I'm a believer

LOL! I thought it was all goofy too at first! It doesn't affect everyone, but for those that do, the symptom increases like you describe will make a believer out of you!

Could this be why I am having more trouble than usual sleeping this week? Last night was the worst yet. My internal vibrations have come back too.

It's possible. Watch your symptoms closely over the next few days and if they subside, then you can assume you are one of the lucky ones that will go through this too. It's nice that you can look on a calendar though and know that for those days you will need to rest.

Hi all fellow Super Moon Lyme sufferers. This Nov. 14th, 2016 Super Moon has been a nightmare for me. Today is the 15th-the day after the Super Moon and I am still HERXING really badly. My primary Lyme/Babesia symptoms of bodily(mostly leg) shaking/anxiety/hyperventilating type breathing/muscle pain/chills etc., are more INTENSE than usual-in fact I felt I had been getting somewhat better before this current Lunar occurrence. I am wondering if anyone out there has had a similar type of experience over the last few days, and has any opinion about
when it might subside. I would welcome any thoughts or suggestions regarding this unbearable flare up. Thanks, and best wishes, rjb

It all depends on how it affects YOU - we all seem to be different. I've had it last for up to a week (sorry! I KNOW that's not what you want to hear!) or only 3 days.
The super moon hit me harder than the previous full moons this time around, but since it didn't hit me super hard, I'm hoping (fingers crossed!) that it will only last another day or two.

I was wondering; could the super moon have anything to do with the fact that even though I dont fall asleep until1 to 3 am, Im not not sleeping late like Id normally do after a restless night. Im waking up despite insufficient hours slept!

Yes, the full moon - or super moon in this case - messes with my ability to sleep as well as other symptoms.

Traveler-Thanks for the quick response. I am jumping out of my skin. Unfortunately, I have neuropathy due to my Central Nervous System being compromised from the Lyme-so when it gets this bad my Lyme doctor has me taking Librium in order to calm down my nerves. I am seeing one of my Lyme doctors tonight- I hope the acupuncture helps. Perhaps, I should cut back on my Lyme meds for a little while.
Best,

If it's overwhelming for you, adjust as necessary, but I would encourage you to try more detoxing first, just because we want treatments to stay steady as much as possible - but! if it's unbearable (it has gotten to that level for me before as well), then please do lower your doses for a few days and increase your detoxing so you can get back to your regular doses as quickly as possible. We have to survive treatments!
