I have days where I feel like I'm okay. I feel like I can deal with everything and that whatever thoughts were in my head was just paranoia. then all i have to do is give the doctors some time and they'll figure out whats wrong with me. I just have to be careful, watch what i eat and not over-exert myself.
But then there are days like today where i fell like I'm not going to make it all. I have a headache or head pressure, sometimes it feels like pinches all over my skull. There is pressure at my temples and behind my eyes. I don't have allergies but my sinuses are achy and the inside of my ears hurt. My neck hurts and is stiff, my back hurts, my joints are achy and so are some muscles. I'm dizzy and have double vision in one eye. I'm nauseous but fairly certain I'm not going to throw up. Very low appetite and anything that I do eat goes right through me (been having that the last four days). My abdomen hurts in areas, (like upper areas both left and right, lower abdomen, near my belly button and they all radiate toward the back). Sometimes it feels like every organ in my abdomen is swollen and tender. My hands hurt and feel a tingling or vibration in them. Sometimes I barely move them and they tingle as if they fell asleep. Same goes for my legs, unless they are in a comfortable position, within seconds they begin to tingle. I have no energy, I could barely stand to cook in front of the stove before I felt terrible and had to lay down. Last week I could even walk the length of a supermarket before I felt terrible and sick.
All of these are just the symptoms I can describe. There are days where there are new symptoms that scare me because I never felt them before. Like the tingling and vibrations. I sometimes feel them when I'm sitting or laying down and it freaks me out. Sometimes I can even feel it in my sleep. I suffer from brain fog and I know my short term memory is getting worse.
What's especially frustrating is that I haven't been diagnosed with anything other than GERD and acid reflux. Most of my blood tests have come back normal except for low vitamin D. All my hormones are fine. The last round of tests checked for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, but those also came back normal. My doctor did suggest Fibro as a possibility, but other things need to be ruled out first. I waiting on my head MRI results. I'm beginning to wonder if it could by Lyme disease. I work indoors but the area is next to a large park and deer and other animals are a regular occurrence. I've heard of people having Lyme for years, but I've only being dealing with this for two and half months. But I feel as if I'm deteriorating and getting worse every week.
I feel like my family doesn't understand or sometimes even believe what I'm going through. I've been to the ER twice, I went to a GI who said I probably have fibro and Celiac (totally getting a second opinion on that). I also have an appointment with my GYN because I think i can feel a lump or lumps on the side of my breast. I've been looking my LLMD in my area and hoping to get an appointment soon.
I feel like I'm going crazy... Could this be lyme? If not, what else could it be? Is there anyone else feeling like this?
