Abx

I had no idea antibiotics could make you feel so crappy. I don't know if I can do this! Just started them this week. My questions: Why do we need to take so may antibiotics at one time? And why do LLMDs give different patients different antibiotics for the same disease? Just curious. I've read so many accounts of patients going through abx treatment and it not helping them, but making them worse. Does going to herbal route make you feel just as badly?

Serious attention to detoxing will help in dealing with the symptoms. These bacteria put off toxins when they die and many times our bodies have compromised detoxing pathways.

Herbs can make you herx just as bad depending on each person's toxin & bacterial load. I herxed hard for 3 weeks when I used an herb (Houttuynia or HH) for my Bartonella infection.

With that said, I couldn't tolerate abx treatments at all, herbs were much easier for me to handle and deal with the herxes. it may be an option for you as well.

Are you seeing a doctor that is willing to help you with herbs?

It is so hard to take something that you know is going to make you feel worse, at least for the time being. But try and look at this way - you are attacking those darn buggers and killing them off.

Make sure you pamper yourself. Don't push too hard. Take a quick nap here and there and as stated, simple detoxing such as lemon water go a long way.
