Hi
I'm in NJ and had a SEVERELY almost fatal reaction to abx to treat my Lyme and bartonella coinfection.
Can someone please give me the name of a natural/holistic dr in NJ that is Lyme literate please?

Welcome to the forum!

I'm sorry that you had a bad reaction to abx... there are several people on the forum that have experienced bad reactions to abx and have gone all herbal.
May I ask what reaction you had?

May I ask you to enable your email address? We are not allowed to post dr's names on the forum. Other members can then contact your by pm with the information you asked for.

I'm sure people will jump in with info, I can't help you with a name cause I'm in Europe.

My platelets dropped to a 3. My LLMD said she needed me to get genetic testing before they do anything w me bc they were petrified of my immune system failure w the drugs and my platelet count. My liver tests were high during as well and dropped to normal a few weeks after stopping treatment. I was in the ER and thankfully the ctscans showed zero blood in my brain which was great! My BP was also very low.
BUT she soon left the practice she was in and now I have no dr at all.

Don't worry!

If you go to 'My Profile', choose 'Edit Profile', then click on 'Show my Emailaddress'. The envelope under your name will turn blue. If you prefer to keep your identity private, you could use or create an email address not showing your real name.

Luckely you made it... that is a very dangerous reaction... I hope you can find someone quickly so that you can restart treatment.
