Is CT scan the best scan for upper right area?

Can anyone recommend? A doctor said if my upper right side pains continue he could order a type of ct scan. I wonder if a parasite or anything might show up in one ? Anyone know?

Also I've been checked out by a doctor an even went to an e.r. a few nights ago to see if they could maybe find something but xray and blood tests were clear - except total eosiphinils were high but the common U.S. doctor doesn't know jack about parasites.

More like rib/chest area, I did get checked out by e.r. and a doctor tho but its kind of in middle of the right area sort of. My feeling is it could be a parasite like a fluke or nematode, whether it will show up on a scan I have no idea though.

It feels physical which is why I'm thinking maybe it's not lyme - like in the right side front area discomfort. It does sometimes radiate a little in the back and sometimes little rashes show up around the area and liver area. (Feels a little like kidney pain pain sometimes but blood tests for that looked fine)

The doctor near here said he can order something like a go around ct scan around there if it continues.
