Help for our pup.

Hi LL friends. My pup has Lyme's. Shamefully , It took us 3 vets and over 3 months to get a diagnosis. The hard part is she cannot talk. The other hard part is no vets here know anything about Lyme's.

Sammie is her name and she is a large LGD Akbash dog. very sweet. We are just starting our 5th week on doxy. I have also been using a homeopathic Lyme's Plex from king bio.
I just ordered the cats claw for her.

I have questions and don't even know where to start, for example:
How long a course of doxy should she take?
Can she take the cats claw and the doxy at the same time?
She is so much better now but some days she is very limpy and sore. Will she ever get well?

She got really sick after we first started the antibiotics. We had to feed her and give her water with a syringe for about two weeks. She pretty much have up on herself.

Now I know she was probably herxing. But nobody told us about that at the time.
I am afraid she will have permanent joint damage too.

Anyway, if you have any thing to say that might help us, thank you in advance and best wishes to all here.
