UPDATE:
LLMD was told yesterday that my insurance had been cancelled. So I hopped on the phone with them—turns out they were accidentally applying my recent payments to a previous plan I had before I switched to my current plan, therefore my current plan was delinquent. But it took several phone calls to find this out—there was confusion. I was accused of being a deadbeat. Some reps were nice but not helpful, others were disgustingly ignorant and rude. They could and would not figure this out and other confusion ensued over whether or not I'm eligible to get reinstated. Had to call the carrier several times to get to someone who knew what they were talking about or could be convinced to actually do their #@*&^ job and look into the situation for me. Had to call the state insurance agency and another agency to figure out how to file a grievance to initiate quick resolution in the hopes of keeping my Fri appt. at the hospital for PICC installation.
Anyway, long, long frustrating, infuriating day on the phone today, which in our condition leaves me feeling like I just ran a marathon wearing stilettos and a big ol' sign that says, "please throw things at my head".
Likely will have to reschedule my appt Friday to next week.
Believe it or not—I first called my LLMD for an appt over a yr ago… and still waiting to get started, it feels (even though that's not true at all but I thought I'd be sooooo much further along by now).
