Girlie, it was at least 3 months before I felt noticeably better, and then it continued to improve at that point, slowly.
So when I first started treatment I felt a little better after a few weeks but only a little. After I added the rifampin I felt worse for a week or so from the herx, and then started to notice more improvement than before.
But it took at least three months to notice big improvement.
So I have been treating for almost 5 months now.
Its been up and down but getting better.
for the last two weeks I have been feeling the best yet. But I still don't feel 100% and am still not sure of how things are.
I have been feeling much better mentally than I have since this all began.
I feel notably more normal and functional again.
So, hang in there. Keep at it, it takes a long time to feel better but it can happen.
And I think the antibiotics combo I had works pretty well. Plus I am on other supplements.
If anyone doesn't know- there is a new test from Germany from infectolab that can tell people the status of their lyme in the moment- it can tell if you have an infection and how active it is (low or high.)
