Hi everyone,

about two years ago I had unprotected oral sex with a man and shortly afterwards had smelly discharge and loss of sex drive.

Since then I still have no sex drive and although my STD test came out clean, I know it is due to some pathogen as my sex drive comes back strong when I had temporarily lifted mercury (with moorbath) and it also came back briefly the first time I tried saccharomyces boulardii probiotic.

Is there a broad spectrum drug I can ask my doctor to prescribe to me? My family doctor only relies on tests which as you know are not always reliable (I am immune suppressed and also tested negative for Lyme and H.pylori which I eventually found out I have).

I'm also wondering if it could be cured with colloidal silver? I tried Flagyl a while back and it didn't help.

I also have chronic Lyme disease which has lowered my sex drive slowly over the years, but the sex drive completely stopped after this incident.

Good broad spectrum abx are macrolides, tetracyclines, and maybe try tinidazole?

I am confused... You had oral sex and then had loss of sex drive?

I would just think it is because you have Lyme disease.

Yes that is right. How can I completely lose my sex drive after the incident if it is just Lyme?

Well I lost my sex drive when catching Lyme. It could be a hormonal issue. There are also sexually transmitted diseases that aren't detected with medical testing.

Also it maybe hormonal. You may need to get your hormones balanced?

With L/co, our addrenals are the first thing the spirochetes attack. The addrenals are connected to the hormonal areas. All of this gets very taxed, and then often our sleep suffers. Add all of this up, and often times L/co people deal with their labido going downward, or stopping. Stress is one major factor that causes this to snowball quickly.

When we finally get the right input (meds/sleep/nutrition/etc) these areas heal and neg symptoms correct.

Cranial sacrum massage can also help with this issue.

All is not lost. There is a light at the end, or even closer, of the tunnel. Keep moving forward on your journey through this, and remember, today is today....it isn't tomorrow. There is hope.

I have totally lost mine, there is zero sex drive. My poor hubby, but he has Lyme also, his has slowed down a lot.

So you guys think it is Lyme? Ok, I hope so! Gives me some hope!

Still doesn't explain the smelly discharge for several days afterwards!

Smelly discharge? If you really strongly suspect something... It could be this. Have you been tested for it?

It could be trichomoniasis and is actually a pretty common sti. But it has relatively mild symptoms. You can treat with flagyl or tinidazole.

Thanks, I tried flagyl for a few days about a year ago but didn't notice improvement in my symptoms (only dead skin coming out my back in warm bath which I guess is due to lyme).
