Cheetah, so happy you like the sounds of my diet suggestions. You're making me want to make you a smoothie!
Okay, so a morning smoothie for me looks
non goitrogen (cause I'm hypothyroid) but very alkalinizing veggies: handful of sprouts, handful of parsley, a few romaine leaves, a couple celery stalks, possible tablespoon maca powder
low glycemic fruit: handful of strawberries, handful of blueberries (I freeze them so the smoothie feels more desert-like :)
possible fats to include, maybe 1 or 2 from this list (I'd ESPECIALLY push these if I were trying to put on a pound or two): 1/3 an avocado, heaping teaspoon raw cacao powder (a superfood and makes it chocolatey), coconut oil or even better, coconut butter (more of the coconut flesh), ground flax seeds.
stevia to sweeten, pink salt to bring out flavors and mineralize
a cup of water
In general I'd advise to eat what feels good, no matter what don't-eat list it's on! If that's soy for you, then eat it and feel good about your choice. I think it would behoove you to try out some different fats that might be possible for you, though. Coconut milk, coconut oil & butter, avocado, seeds. For coconut water I like taste nirvana but only cause it tastes the best to me :)
Girlie, I can relate to getting attention for weight loss. It's very confusing. People acting envious or saying how good you're looking, when although your body fits into tiny clothes now, it's very weak and you've lost all your coloring! It can really mess with your head. Along the same lines as the "well you don't look sick" comments! Or when you're having cognitive dysfunction and someone says, "well you're making perfect sense!" It's so hard to nagivate the illness on your own, let alone fielding all the weird reactions that come at you!!
