Tests say no; symptoms say yes!

I tested CDC positive for Lyme through Igenex Labs about a month and a half ago after being sick for 7 years. I started treatment slow with Omnicef. I sent in for coinfection testing after that and only came up borderline positive for Ehrlichia. My LLMD had never suspected Ehrlichia but had instead previously thought I had Babesia. The air hunger I experience has become so horrible that I was insistent on treating Babesia before anything else. However, now I'm learning that Bartonella, Mycoplasma, and Protomyxzoa also can cause air hunger.. Now I don't know what to treat! Is there any antibiotic regimen that covers them all? Do any supplements/meds help air hunger in the meantime? I go back to the LLMD on Friday the 17th but I want to know opinions from other Lymies first. Thanks in advanced for any help! Xoxo

Have you checked out Buhner's website? It is www.buhnerhealinglyme.com? There is a lot of good info on there. Personally I did not experience much air hunger so I don't have any specific information for you on that.

As far as covering all the bugs at once...there are a lot of good abx, I like azithro or biaxin for broad spectrum coverage but I also like using some of the alternative protocols in conjunction with antibiotics.

Like achievinggrace said, sounds like you have a good llmd (wahoo!) so just come prepared to ask them a few of these questions and they should be able to get you on a good track. the 17th will be here before you know it! Just keep swimming...
