So I saw my hematologist yesterday and told her of my symptoms and she seems to think that I have Polymigria Rheaumatic? I am only 34 and this usually affects people over 50. She prescribed me steriods but I don't know how I feel about taking them? I guess I am just confused as to what route to take and what to do!

If you think you have Lyme Disease, you really shouldn't take steroids. They suppress the immune system and would you leave you in a worse state.

I'm not familiar with your story... have you looked for a Lyme Literate Doctor?

There is one a couple of hours away from me but I have not made an appointment yet...I guess I am just really confused on what's going on with me and what to do. My chiroprator is going to refer me to another chiro that specializes in getting our body systems in sync...mainly my nervous system because that is what is out of whack. I had a neg lyme antibody test, not sure if I should do the Igenex test I guess bc I am afraid it will come up positive and then still be confused! I don't even know if this makes any sense!!

The IgeneX Western Blot is an excellent test. If it comes up negative it doesn't rule out Lyme because of the inherent nature of the test but a positive you can be rest assured you have it. You'll always wonder so just go get it done.

Leapyear - aren't your symptoms more than what PR encompasses? I thought PR was mostly muscle pain.

What is the PR diagnosis based on? Is there anything to substantiate it?

I think you should get the Igenex WB done...and see a LLMD a.s.a.p.

my main symptom is burning in my biceps/shoulders and right leg pain/burning...these symptoms are persistent everyday...some days i have hurting elbows. I am always tired. My vibrations come only at night when I am sleeping and they were gone for a couple weeks but have recently been back...just not as strong. My numbness now usually occurs only at night in my arms when sleeping again. My feet often times feel strange...kinda tingly but not overly bad...so she was going off my symptoms that i have everyday that just do not go away...recently my skin has become very sensitive...like if i have an itch and i stratch it it kinda burns...almost like i have a sunburn...is that common with lyme?
